Puerto Aventuras is a private gated residential community situated on the Riviera Maya, which is on the Mexican Caribbean side of the Yucatan Peninsula, and is approximately 20 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, and 30 minutes north of the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum. The Porto Bello apartments are located directly facing the Marina and are close to the beach, golf course and tennis courts.

The Marina is dotted with small restaurants, bars, shops and open-air cafes, where you can relax, eat and drink whilst watching dolphins play and perform. This main area is a hive of activity and caters for all interests including scuba diving, para-gliding, sailing, snorkelling and deep sea fishing.

The Dolphin Discovery Centre sits in the heart of the Puerto Aventuras complex and is built on an island in the middle of the main lagoon. The facility offers the opportunity to swim and interact with the dolphins and other sea life creatures such as Manatees, Sea Lions, and rays. It attracts visitors from all around the local area, and is within a 1-minute walk from the Porto Bello apartments.

The beach at Puerto Adventuras is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment and consists of the finest soft white sand on the Mayan Riviera along with the warmth of the Caribbean sea. The central beach area stretches for over 1.5 miles and is known locally as Fatima Bay. It is child-friendly with shallow waters and is the perfect place to go snorkelling.
